Bactéries
Campylobacter
Shigella
- Complications: syndrome hémolytique et urémique (typique) pouvant être précipité par l'antibiothérapie → traitement réservé pour maladie sévère ou invasive !
Salmonella
- Traitement: symptomatique. Si facteurs de risque (diarrhées profuses avec hospitalisation, bactériémie, forte fièvre, sepsis, enfants, patients > 50 ans, matériel prothétique, athérosclérose, immunosuppression) → fluoroquinolones; azithromycine; bactrim, amoxicilline
Thyphoïde
- Sérotypes: tyhpi, parathyphi
- Clinique: fièvre entérique → fièvre, douleur abdominale, rash cutané, hépatosplénomégalie et bradycardie relative
Non-thyphoïde
- Complications: ostéomyélite dans le contexte d'une drépanocytose
Escherichia coli
- Complications (EHEC): syndrome hémolytique et urémique (typique) pouvant être précipité par l'antibiothérapie → PAS de traitement antibiotique !
Yersinia
- Clinique de pseudo-appendicite avec douleurs de la fosse iliaque droite
Clostridium difficile
Synonyme: colite pseudomembraneuse
Parasites
Giardia lamblia
- Facteur de risque: Déficience sélective en IgA
- Traitement: Treatment is recommended for symptomatic patients; metronidazole, tinidazole, or nitazoxanide can be used.
Cryptosporidium
- Traitement: supportive care for most immunocompetent hosts;
